Ride Sheffield Winter Social – Update
Time is rolling itself round to the end of another year, which can only mean that we are approaching this years Ride Sheffield Winter Social. So on Monday the 24th of November we will be taking to our usual venue of the Lescar on Sharrowvale Road, to chat about what we have been up to over the past year; but more importantly for you to tell us what you would like us to be focusing on next year. Also once the formal bit is out of the way it will be time for the quiz and raffle/auction too
We will be kicking of the evening at seven, so if you want to get down early and also have so stuff you wanted to sell (the stuff left over from Peaty’s Bike Bonanza!) we will be having an informal bike jumble until the meeting bit starts at half seven.
Other than a very brief update on a few things we have been working on. We will be focussing on the two main areas we are involved in. Trail Building/maintenance and Access. We would like your feedback on both these areas. There will be plenty of opportunity to discuss them in the meeting, but if you prefer to let us know before hand that would be great. It also helps us focus the meeting a bit better round you which helps too. So if you can answer the following questions for both areas and email them to info@ridesheffield.org.uk it would be greatly appreciated;
- What has worked well this year?
- What do we need to improve on?
- What should we be focusing on next year?
Once the meeting is done we will move onto the bike themed quiz.
We have had some fantastic prizes provided for the quiz and raffle by Sheffield’s awesome and supportive bike industry, more on that in a second….
