November Trail Day – Blacka

For this months trail day we will be returning to the Devils Elbow on Saturday the 5th, to make sure it is all clear and ready for winter.

Last year we did a lot of work re-establising the drains up there as well as tidying up a few of the existing ones. This will be the main focus of the work again, as well as trying to address the spring near the very top of the trail (though this may be a little hard to find at the moment!)

Jon will be leading the work up on the trail and will be providing the tools and the guidance  for the work. He will be meeting at the top of the Devils Elbow on the Hathersage Road (A625). There is parking in the lay by opposite. He will then be slowly making his way down the trail (so you could always park at the bottom and walk up if you prefer)

Refreshments and tools will be provided, but please make sure you wear appropriate clothing. Also don’t forget to sign on when you see Jon, so we can add you onto the incentive scheme supported by Shore Lines.
