Lady Cannings Forestry Work – Closures

While we have know about the planned felling works in Lady Cannings for a while, we have only just received info on when this is going to be.

The trail will be closed from Monday 24th October for approximately a month

Once there work has been done, Bike Track will be in straight away to carry our reinstatement works on any part of the track that is impacted on by the felling (we expect a couple of crossings of the trail but have been promised that it will be kept to a minimum) 

There is a chance that there may be further closures even after the trail reopens because of the safety implications of the work going on in other parts of the woods. But we will keep you updated and as we know

Thanks in advanced for respecting the closures. While it is a bit inconvenient, the felling does represent one of the final barriers before the Go Outdoors funded work on phases  and 3 can take place!
