May Trail Days: Greno

This month we will be heading up to Greno for our trail days. While the trails are pretty hardwearing and a little rougher than some, they still benefit from a little tic here and there. We will be starting in the Bombhole to make sure it is all looking good for Peaty’s Steel City DH and them working on the Steel City Track before doing a few jobs on the other trails (time permitting)

We will be working on the trail on Sunday the 14th of May at 1030 on wards and will also be up on the trail on Tuesday the 16th from 1800 onwards.

All help is greatly appreciated and to show how much it is appreciated, as well as the free lunch (on the Sunday) we will also be offering a  place in the race to couple of lucky hardworking folk!

We will have snacks and lunch kindly provided by Shore Lines and we should have enough tools to go around, but if you do have a wheelbarrow and are able to bring it, that would be really helpful.

Please be aware there may be trail closures in a couple of places on those days, so please respect the signs.

Location: Greno Woods (Bombhole and Steel City Track)
Time: Sunday 14th May 1030 am onwards and Tuesday 16th May 1800 Onwards
Meet: Forestry Car Park on Woodhead RD at 1030/1800 or after that on the trail or bomb hole
Tools all provided (but extras always welcome)
Lunch/Snacks provided, though you may want to bring your own drinks
Please wear clothing/footwear suitable for trailwork
