January Trail Day
With the wettest month on record now behind us, we thought it would be good to get out and give the trails a little tlc. Our work this month is pretty much dictated by the weather, as we are wing for the ground to settle before the contractors can neater up the work in Greno and in Lady Cannings we are waiting for the water table to drop as well as the new start to be constructed. So we will see work up at Greno in the next couple of months.
So for this month we are planning on doing a bit of more general work around Blacka to help the ground recover a bit quicker and to clear up the drains that have become silted up over the past month. This also means that we will be travelling fairly light!
We will be meeting at Stoney Ridge Car Park at 10 am and will then walk towards the top of Piper House Gate and then onto and down Devils Elbow and then back up Piper House Gate and back to the car park. We expect to be out for 3-4 hours, but feel free to come and find us for some of the time.
Because we will be travelling light it will be useful to know numbers before the day so we can bring the right number of tools. Also so we can bring enough snacks and lunch on the day too.
Look forward to seeing you there.
