News Update, Trail News

Sam Beeton from SCC emailed the other day to let us know about a  number of new Bridleways that have been created in the last few years that we may not be aware of.

They are all signed and available on the ground, but have not yet been added to the Definitive Map. That means they are not yet on the Explorer OS maps (with the orange covers) and are unlikely to be well-known by anyone other than locals.

The maps of where these routes are can be seen below. The shorter ones don’t look terribly significant, but they are there to help walkers, cyclists and riders avoid unpleasant sections of road and/or link in with other public and permissive Bridleways.
